What comes first for the Shakli team, when designing a modest blouse the fabric or design?

Every design is special. There is no one way for the journey of concept to blouse. 

For the Fearless Eyelet modest shirt, we fell in love with the fabric. It was the fabric that inspired the design. We tried the fabric in 2 similar designs (see photos below). The second design was longer. Conceptually we really like the design, but the fabric felt too stiff for the design. This is an example of a design originating before the final fabric. 

Since our modest fashion brand is built on the consumer's choice, we left the final decision for our customers. We held a launch event and asked customers to provide feedback on the style. Each customer voted for their favorite color, style and design. 

The current Fearless Eyelet modest shirt is the blouse design most favored.
